Farmers manage powerful, complex ecosystems for agricultural production – and much of that complexity lies within their soil. Agriman offers effective technologies to help farmers unlock the power of soil by working with nature in its complexity.
Agriman is a circular economy business, where sewage sludge and other digestates from biogas-to-energy projects are treated and remanufactured into organic based fertilizers. The product range fully complies with the Sludge Classification requirements of the Departments of Health, Environmental Affairs, Water Affairs and Agriculture.
They have helped to take 6000 tonnes of sludge off the landfill sites and convert that to useful fertilizer. Their product not only captures carbon in the soil but it also limits the methane emissions from sewerage sludge. The business is circular by nature, converting hazardous waste into a product of choice.
