Lee-Anne Singer is the Marketing and Sales Director at the Singer Group, bringing over 29 years of tourism industry experience. She drives business development, marketing, and revenue across the Group’s eleven brands. Lee-Anne serves as Chairperson of FEDHASA Cape and sits on the boards of Cape Town Tourism and the Cape Chamber of Commerce. A passionate philanthropist, she supports Glendale Home and HOPE Cape Town, and is a sought-after speaker on tourism, marketing, and gender empowerment. She previously held roles in media, including CNBC Africa, and was named ‘Western Cape Positive Role Model’ in the Gender Mainstreaming Awards.
About our guest
Emmah Makatu is the founder and director of Destinations Direct Travel, a company known for delivering seamless, customer-focused travel solutions. She is also a founding member of Zwinoni Lodge, which operates three award-winning guest houses in the Western Cape. A passionate entrepreneur and mentor, Emmah partners with institutions like Northlink and West Coast College to train and inspire the next generation of tourism leaders. After completing the Fetola development programme, she expanded her footprint by acquiring and operating guest houses in Claremont and Langebaan. With a strong track record and a heart for impact, Emmah continues to shape South Africa’s tourism landscape.
